we hosted a midnite series finale party at the agapeshack for our beloved friday night addiction:battlestar galactica. most comment about how hard it is to find fellow bsg lovers…especially in their churches. the majority of cylon loving believers must attend vision. we seem to have an overabundance of them including female fans…though we do have closet fans who’s wives claim that they never knew!

it was a fun time with an intense episode…..after 4 seasons over 6 years, we got some of the answers we’d been waiting for….while other threads fell short. i did not like the waayyy too pushy preaching at the end. i prefer the show as metaphor and parable.

what made our party extra nerdy, geeky and even more fun is that some vision nerds were on the west coast and couldn’t join us in person so we did a skype call and had bi-coastal interaction. during the show, we would mute the sound on both ends just in case the signal was not synchronized.

during commercials, we would interact….debate….exchange and answer questions….give commentaries…….make jokes…hoot and holler…..

mmm………nerd.

it was riveting into the wee hours….we looked like this the majority of the time…a lot of fun….made double because of the coasts…..

so say we all.
